Just when you thought the ABCD Project was over, we have organised another event. We are keen to grab as much learning as we can from the 9 months of the Project so we are using the last pennies in the budget to organise a Showcase Event on Thursday 14th April from 2-6pm at the Lecture Hall, George Lane, Loddon. The idea is that from 2-5pm we have a series of talks and homemade tea and cake and then from 5-6pm we have a special Equality Soup community meal organised by the team at Rosy Lee’s Tearoom. Rosy Lee’s loved being at our Winter Wellbeing Festival and wanted to bring some of the positive energy back to Loddon.
The talks will include things like:
– what is ABCD?
– what is co-production?
– what is graphic reporting?
– what is peer support?
– what keeps us well?
– what did we do with our We Can awards?
– what did we learn from the ABCD Project?
As you probably know by now, the ABCD mantra is “why have a meeting when you can have a party?” so we can assure you the event will be fun and interactive. We are looking for people to make cakes, help serve drinks, chop fruit salad, share their stories.
Chris from South Norfolk CCG is leading on the evaluation and is particularly keen to talk to people to see what impact the ABCD Project had on them and their organisations. His email address if you’d like to contact him is: firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can see our glorious poster on the homepage so we thought we’d give you the colouring in version here. We’d be grateful if you could let all your friends, neighbours and colleagues know about the Showcase, particularly anyone who lives in the Loddon area. Caroline who runs Rosy Lee’s is the world’s greatest connector so we are all assured a very warm welcome.
