61% and smiling

We were invited to take part in the 61% and smiling conference which was about “Bridging the Gap between Arts and Wellbeing”. It was  aimed at professionals from both the health and wellbeing sector and from the arts and culture sector who would like to explore how they can more effectively work together, using data and learning from national and local programmes. We had a stand next to our old friends Sing Your Heart Out who were so brilliant at the Winter Wellbeing festival. Why was the conference called 61% and Smiling? Because 61% is the percentage of people who demonstrated increased wellbeing as a result of taking part in the creative and cultural activities which were part of the Norfolk Arts & Wellbeing Programme. Our Project Coordinator Michelle Savage was invited to write a personal perspective for the report to accompany the conference. You can download the by clicking this link: 61% and Smiling Report
